This enriching tour takes you to the heart of Naxos, connecting the island's ancient past with its living traditions. The tour begins at the Sanctuary of Demetra in Sangri, dedicated to the goddess of fertility. The marble temple, older than the Parthenon, overlooks fertile plains and reveals ancient rituals and the myth of Persephone, symbolizing the seasons and agricultural cycles.
