Your tour begins at Yria sanctuary, located in the village of Agios Arsenios, a sacred place in the Greek Archipelagos with a continuous history dating back to the 14th century B.C. This site is considered the birthplace of the Ionic order in monumental Greek architecture.
Next, you head to the Temple of Demeter, located 1.5 km south of Ano Sangri. The impressive temple was built around 430 BC, it is one of the earliest Ionic temples, constructed entirely from Naxian marble.
Your next stop is the renowned pottery workshop of Manolis Libertas in Damalas village, where you can witness the traditional craft of Naxos pottery. The artist will tell you the story of his family who came from Sifnos island.
Finally, you reach the beautiful and picturesque village of Halki. Your first stop here will be the Citrus Distillery of Vallindras, followed by a stroll through the charming alleys of the village. To conclude the tour, you will sit at a traditional tavern to savor local food and a traditional dessert.
