The experience begins with a scenic drive inland through Naxos, passing the island's oldest olive grove, home to olive trees over 800 years old. Along the way, discover the flavors, food traditions and culinary identity of the island. Arrival is in the unspoiled, off-the-beaten-path village of Kaloxylos, where time seems to stand still. Stroll through picturesque alleyways leading to a 100-year-old olive press factory, where centuries-old traditions come to life through olive oil tastings and insights into traditional olive-pressing techniques.
Following local tradition, take time to relax outdoors with a glass of local wine and farm-to-table finger foods, including Naxos' famous cheeses.
