Enjoy a guided tour on a comfortable bus through the most beautiful villages and hidden historical sights of Naxos, with plenty of stops along the way.
Your first stop is Demeter's Temple near Sangri. In addition to the impressive temple ruins, you will have the chance to visit the archaeological museum in the same area and see the findings from the site. This monumental, all-marble temple was built in the late 6th century (entrance fees are not included).
Next, visit Damalas, a charming little village in the heart of Tragea valley, where you can watch a demonstration at the only remaining traditional pottery workshop and explore the restored olive press just a few meters away.
Continue to Halki, a picturesque village where you can stroll through the narrow marble alleys, visit the traditional citron distillery dating back to 1896, and enjoy a coffee while soaking in the elegant atmosphere.
Heading into the mountainous part of Naxos, stop at the famous village of Apiranthos, known as the "marble village". Wander along its marble-paved streets and capture stunning photos. Then, make your way to the northernmost edge of the island at Apollonas, a small, typical Cycladic fishing village, perfect for a swim or a relaxing break at the seaside cafes and taverns.
Before taking the coastal road back to town, admire the impressive 11-meter statue, an unfinished Kouros-style sculpture from the 6th century BC.
As you return, take in the breathtaking views of Agia Tower and the neighboring islands.
