Description
Food, wine and culture in a fun and tasty walking tour.
Walk through the historical back streets and small alleyways of Naxos town and discover the food secrets of our island. You'll be with a small group and a fully certified English-speaking guide. The smells, sights, and tastes of Naxos will come to life.
You'll wind your way gently to the first stop where you'll be able to sample a variety of local Naxian cheeses - of course, served with a refreshing glass of local wine. You'll savor the authentic taste of bread baked in one of the oldest bakeries on the island where bread is still baked in a wood-fired oven and 'blessed' with a sprinkle of Naxian olive oil. You'll sample a variety of different Naxian pies and a locally made spirit - 'tsipouro' - not for the faint-hearted.
Your local guide will make the island come to life with stories and histories of the island and its famous cuisine. You'll toast the effervescent flavors and scents and eternal beauty of our fascinating, historical, majestic and ever-evolving island.

You should try it!
Best foud tour we had in quite a while! It was almost like we "tasted" the roots of the island! Great way to learn about the traditional dishes. Our tour guide was an absolute star! He knew so much about the culture of the locals and he even shared with us some of his family traditions! Don't think twice about this tour, just go
