Description
Discover the culinary identity of Naxos through a full-day experience focused on authentic village life and local production. This tour connects you directly with the islandâs agricultural traditions through guided tastings and visits to traditional communities.
Your journey begins in Îalki, where you enjoy a tasting of local citron liqueur and honey while exploring one of the most elegant neoclassical villages of the island. You then continue to Kaloxylos to visit a traditional olive press and participate in a guided olive oil tasting session featuring local olive products.
In Filoti, the largest mountain village of Naxos, you walk through the alleys and old market area and experience the atmosphere of a traditional kafeneio. The experience continues at a local farm, where you observe traditional cheese making and taste freshly prepared dishes such as shepherdâs omelet and other farm-based specialties.
The day concludes in Apiranthos, the well-known marble village, where you enjoy a traditional dessert in a mountain setting and free time to stroll through its marble-paved streets. Throughout the tour, you visit four authentic Naxian villages while discovering the flavours and rural character that define the island.
