Begin the ride from a bike shop in the heart of Chora Town, heading inland toward the village of Eggares. Visit one of the island's oldest olive oil presses, dating back to the late 19th century, located in one of the oldest cultivated areas of Naxos. Discover centuries-old olive groves and fertile farmland and learn how olive oil was traditionally produced long before the use of electricity.
Continue toward the Kouros statue in the Mili area, following a route that includes uphill sections. Admire panoramic views of the marble quarries below, a testament to the island's long sculptural tradition. Reach the archaeological site where ancient Naxians carved statues and Cycladic artifacts, many of which are now displayed in museums around the world. Observe the unfinished Kouros statue resting near the riverbed, hidden within the lush gorge of Flerio.
Head back toward Chora after a short visit, passing by a maintenance tunnel that once formed part of an advanced aqueduct system built between the 6th and 8th centuries AD. Follow sections of this 11-kilometer network while cycling through Melanes, Agios Thalaleos and Aggidia, where remnants of pipes and tunnels remain visible.
Return through the suburbs of Chora, taking in sweeping views of the city before arriving back at the bike shop, concluding a scenic and culturally immersive ride.

Riding through the island on an ebike made the island easy and enjoyable to explore. Seeing the Kouros "in the wild" it surrounded by the landscape rather than in a museum was a special experience. The route offered a nice balance of cycling, scenery, and culture.
