Begin your journey at 09:00, pedaling through the lush Melanes Valley on a relaxed 4 - 4.5 hour e-bike tour (25-30 km, easy pace, approx. 450 m elevation), suitable for ages 12 and up. Ancient olive groves, reeds and fragrant citrus orchards set the stage as you immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Naxos.
Step back in time at the awe-inspiring Kouros of Melanes, a monumental 7th-century BC statue that showcases the artistry of ancient Greek marble craftsmanship. From there, continue to the enchanting Eggares Valley, described by the renowned Greek writer Nikos Kazantzakis as an earthly paradise. Here, explore Naxos' agricultural heritage at a traditional stone olive press, learning the time-honored process of olive oil production while enjoying tastings of extra virgin olive oil and local delicacies.
