Start the day with an exciting e-bike ride from the center of Naxos, heading towards the scenic valley of Drimalia. The route passes through fertile farmlands of the lower lands, offering the chance to experience the traditional lifestyle of Naxians, renowned for their farming products.
The ride continues uphill to Damalas village, where the last and oldest pot-maker of the island, Manolis, demonstrates the art of pottery and its uses in local households. Next, explore Kaloxylos village, located in the Drimalia valley, a small settlement known for its tradition in olive oil production and recognized as a traditional village since 1988, featuring unique architecture and folklore.
Nearby, Chalkion village, former capital of Naxos in the 18th century, reveals charming narrow alleys and the Kitron Museum, dedicated to the island's famous citrus liqueur. This village offers the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or snack while exploring local traditions and soaking in the peaceful breeze.
On the return journey, ride through Potamia, the village of rivers, full of running waters in winter and spring. The descent back to Chora is mostly downhill, making the ride enjoyable and relaxing, finishing at the bike shop.
This private e-bike tour is designed for 2 to 8 participants and includes water, snacks and sightseeing, providing a perfect combination of adventure, culture and scenic beauty.
