Embark on the only hiking adventure along Naxos' south-east coast, where breathtaking landscapes, hidden bays and authentic island experiences await.
This full-day journey begins with a 1.5-hour scenic drive from the west to the east coast of Naxos, passing charming villages and dramatic scenery. Your adventure officially starts at Panermos Bay, the most secluded beach accessible by car, with palm trees, crystal-clear waters and a serene setting protected from the northern winds (meltemi).
From here, you set off on a picturesque coastal hiking trail, winding along rocky paths, thick bushes, pebble beaches and offering stunning panoramic views of the Small Cyclades islands, Koufonisi, Schinousa and Iraklia. The 7km hike leads to the amazing Rina's Sea Cave, a 30-meter-long turquoise grotto, where you'll have the chance for cliff diving and swimming in crystal-clear waters, a true highlight of the day.
After exploring the cave, the adventure continues in a unique way: we return to Panermos Bay aboard a traditional Cycladic wooden boat, sipping local wine and enjoying regional snacks while gliding along the coastline. The day concludes with a delicious full-course traditional lunch in a village on the way back to Naxos Town, allowing you to savor the island's authentic flavors and relax after an unforgettable adventure.

What an incredible day! Our guide Marios transformed a simple coastal trip into pure magic, making the drive feel like a joy ride with a friend.
Panermos bay, 1.30 hours from Chora, enchanted us with its charm.The car ride to panermos was included in the price! The highlight was Rina's sea cave! Thanks to Marios' encouragement everybody dived into the turquoise waters
The boat ride back was fantastic, and to cap it off, Marios surprised us with the yummiest local flavors.
In a nutshell, if you find yourself in Naxos, this adventure is a must. Highly, highly recommended!
