Description
Begin your experience with a comfortable pickup from your hotel and a short transfer to the port of Pounta, where you will board a ferry for a quick crossing to Antiparos (approximately 10 minutes). From the moment you arrive, the island's charm is unmistakable, whitewashed houses with blue accents, narrow lanes shaded by bougainvillea and a relaxed atmosphere that instantly sets the tone for the day.
Your first stop is the famous Antiparos Cave, one of the island's most impressive natural landmarks. Descending approximately 160 meters (around 400 steps), you will enter a vast underground chamber filled with striking stalactites and stalagmites. The cave has been visited for centuries, as evidenced by historic inscriptions left behind by early explorers.
The journey continues to Chora, the picturesque main town of Antiparos. Enjoy a leisurely walk along its lively market street, leading to the historic Kastro. Built in 1440 by the Venetians to protect residents from pirate invasions, this unique castle is formed by adjoining two-story houses, creating a fascinating architectural structure that still stands today.
After soaking in the island's beauty and history, you will return by ferry to Paros, followed by a comfortable transfer back to your accommodation.
