Start your day with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel and a short transfer to the port of Pounta, where you board the ferry to Antiparos. The crossing is brief, around 10 minutes, but offers a lovely introduction to the Cycladic seascape before arriving on an island known for its relaxed pace and authentic charm.
On arrival, you make your way to the famous Antiparos Cave, located about 160 meters below ground. The descent involves approximately 400 steps leading into a vast natural chamber measuring around 216 meters in length and 160 meters in depth. Inside, you'll discover an impressive "forest" of stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years. The cave also features ancient inscriptions, evidence that it has been visited for centuries and long admired for its natural beauty.
You then continue to Chora, the island's main town, where you enjoy a walk through its picturesque market street. The route leads you to the historic Kastro, built in 1440 by the Venetians as a defensive settlement against frequent pirate attacks. This unique structure is formed by closely connected two-story houses, creating a fortified enclosure that reflects the island's rich and turbulent past.
After the sightseeing, you enjoy free time on the island. This is your chance to relax and experience Antiparos at your own rhythm, whether that means having lunch at a traditional seaside tavern, relaxing on an organized beach or swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea.
Later in the day, you return by ferry to Paros and are transferred back to your accommodation, completing an 8-hour private experience combining nature, history and leisure in one of the Cyclades' most charming islands.
