Discover the hidden beauty of South Naxos on an intimate and authentic 3-hour private cruise aboard Buru, a traditional 10-meter wooden fishing boat that reflects the island's deep maritime heritage. Departing twice daily at 10:00-13:00 and 15:30-18:30 from the peaceful bay of Panermos or Kalantos, upon request, this experience follows the untouched eastern coastline, with routes toward Panermos or Kalantos and Rina Cave.
At the helm is a local lady captain, born and raised in Naxos, whose life has been shaped by the sea. Years spent navigating these waters alongside seasoned fishermen have resulted in deep knowledge of the coastline, now shared through visits to secluded spots such as Lakos, a tranquil cove with crystal-clear waters, the wild beach cave of Andrius and the impressive Rina Cave, accessible only by boat.
The cruise includes flexible stops for swimming, exploring sea caves and short walks in completely unspoiled locations with vivid turquoise waters, allowing each beach to be enjoyed at a relaxed, personal pace.
Onboard, the experience is elevated by an open kitchen with a private chef, where fresh seafood is prepared in front of you. Authentic Naxian dishes such as ceviche, tartare and scampi pasta are served, using organic, seasonal ingredients and fish caught daily by this boat. Refreshing drinks and a laid-back, all-inclusive atmosphere complete the journey.
