Detailed Activity Descriptions:
Messy and Sensory Play Activities:
These activities encourage curiosity and exploration through practical, hands-on experiences. Using both edible materials (like jelly, cornflour, flour, water, and sand) and non-edible materials (like shampoo foam and soil), children will enjoy intense sensory stimuli that benefit their development across various sensory systems.
Construction Games:
Construction games foster fine motor skills, creativity, imagination, gross motor skills, and problem-solving abilities. Children will have the opportunity to build various structures using diverse materials such as dough, soil, branches, and leaves.
Team-Cooperative Games:
Children will engage in a treasure hunt, requiring teamwork to solve puzzles and find hidden treasures, which will lead to the next level of activities - interacting with farm animals.
Farm Animal Care and Grooming:
Children will get close to nature and interact with farm animals, including goats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, pigs, dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Activities include cleaning animal housing areas, collecting fresh eggs, feeding, petting, and grooming the animals.
Fresh, Local, Bio Snacks:
At the end of the activities, children will enjoy snacks made from Greek and local products, such as carob nuts or gluten-free options with sour myzithra, tomatoes, and olive oil from the farm's production, boiled eggs from the farm's hens, and seasonal fruits. Children will also participate in preparing these snacks.
