Start your adventure with a short, 10-minute boat ride from the old port of Fira at 11:00 AM to the port of Erinia, located at the active volcano. The boat will stay here for 1 hour and 15 minutes, giving you the chance to walk up to the top of the volcano and explore the craters. You will be able to take photos of the smoking rocks and experience the sulfur-rich air up close.

After visiting the volcano, the boat heads to Palaia Kameni island, home to the famous hot springs. The warm thermal waters, ranging from 30 to 35C, offer a unique and relaxing swim in the small bay of St. Nicholas. The boat stays for about 30 minutes, giving you ample time to enjoy the healing properties of the waters. Afterward, the boat returns to the port at 14:00, completing your half-day exploration of Santorini's natural wonders.

The Old Port of Fira can be reached by the following options:1) By Cable Car:The cable car station is easily signposted throughout Fira town and costs 6€ per person 2) By Donkey: The ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes and costs 6€ per person and per way 3) On foot: The walk involves a gradual incline, so be prepared for a bit of exercise and takes around 30 minutes depending your fitness level

What happens if the weather is bad?
In case the weather is bad and for your safety your excursion is cancelled you will first be offered the chance to reschedule. If, for whatever reason you can't or don't want to reschedule - including, simply, your wishes, we will then immediately process a 100% refund of your booking. Without any extra fees or charges. Rarely, bad weather may also mean that, for your safety, a different itinerary is used. Here, no refund is possible. The tour organizer will always offer an equivelant itinerary taking the same amount of time and visiting equally impressive places (just those not so prone to bad weather) and offering an equally enjoyable experience that you are sure to treasure.
