Step aboard Agia Kali, a beautifully restored traditional wooden kaiki and discover the South Aegean through an experience that feels personal, authentic and deeply connected to island life. This semi-private cruise, limited to just 12-14 guests, offers a slower, more meaningful way to explore the Cyclades, where sea, taste and tradition come together in perfect harmony.
Departing from Aliki Marina, the journey unfolds across shimmering turquoise waters toward the untouched coastlines of Antiparos and Despotiko. Hidden coves, sculpted sea caves and quiet beaches accessible only by boat invite you to swim, snorkel and fully immerse yourself in the raw beauty of the Aegean. With a carefully chosen daily route based on weather conditions, every cruise feels unique, safe and perfectly tailored to the sea.
A true highlight of the experience is the freshly prepared onboard lunch, a celebration of Greek culinary tradition served right on the water. From dakos salad and mussels with feta and wine to ouzo-saffron risotto and seasonal fruit, each dish reflects the flavors and spirit of the islands, complemented by wine, beer and soft drinks.
Combined with the warm, attentive presence of the English-speaking crew, the atmosphere remains relaxed, welcoming and effortlessly authentic throughout the day.

Rarely, bad weather may also mean that, for your safety, a different itinerary is used. Here, no refund is possible. The tour organizer will always offer an equivelant itinerary taking the same amount of time and visiting equally impressive places (just those not so prone to bad weather) and offering an equally enjoyable experience that you are sure to treasure.
I recently took the one-day cruise from Pounta Port in Paros to Antiparos and Despotiko on a traditional boat, and overall, it was a good trip. The boat itself had a nice, authentic Greek feel, and sailing through the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean was absolutely beautiful, offering some great views.
We visited Antiparos and the uninhabited island of Despotiko, which combined lovely beaches with a bit of history, especially the ancient sanctuary on Despotiko. The crew was friendly and quite knowledgeable, which added to the experience.
However, the lunch they provided was tasty but didn’t have many options for vegetarians, which was a bit of a letdown.
Overall, I’d give this experience 4 stars. It’s a nice way to see some quieter spots of the Cyclades. Just be ready for a bit of a crowd, and if you have dietary restrictions, it might be a good idea to pack some extra snacks.
