Description
Alexander is the name of the boat you will travel on. It is a large, modern and safe vessel that will take you directly to Naoussa in just half and hour.
The boat departs from the small marina of Naxos. It's far easier and a much more enjoyable experience than taking the ferry especially in the summer months.
If you took the ferry, you'd also have to use a bus or a taxi to get to Naoussa.
Naoussa, (also spelled 'Naousa'), is a charming traditional small fishing village. Nowadays it's also a tourist hot spot bustling with charming cafes, bars and restaurants and flower lined narrow alleys.
Many people say it reminds them of Mykonos - just with more charm and better prices.
You'll also find some of the best restaurants in Greece along the shore serving freshly caught fish and other seafood. These open at lunch time.
The boat departs from Naxos at 09:00 (please arrive 30 minutes earlier) and arrives at approximately 09:30 right in the heart of Naoussa.
You will then have the whole day to explore the charming village, go shopping, eat some delicious food or do whatever you like - your time is your own.
The boat then departs back to Naxos at 18:10 from Naoussa and you'll be back in the early evening at about 18:50.
It's a great day out. A convenient, relaxing, easy and fun way to explore another island.

Naousa is like a small Mykonos!
Nice trip and very short! Much quicker than using a normal ferry like Blue Star. In 30 minutes you arrive there and then you have a full day to do as you wish and that is more than enough time to explore Naousa and Paros.
