Alexander is the name of the boat you will travel on: It's a large, modern and safe vessel that offers a very smooth and comfortable ride. It will take you directly to Naoussa in just half an hour.
Travelling to Paros this way is far easier and a much more enjoyable experience than taking the ferry - especially in the crowded summer months. Plus, if you took the ferry for the same trip, you'd also have to use a bus or a taxi to get to Naoussa. The boat also departs from the small marina of Naxos and not the ferry port so there are no crowds, no waiting around - and no stress.
Your arrival port is Naoussa (also spelled 'Naousa') - a charming traditional small fishing village. Nowadays, it's also a tourist hot spot bustling with charming cafes, bars and restaurants along narrow alleys lined with colorful bougainvillea flowers that will take your breath away. Many people say it reminds them of Mykonos - just with more charm, beauty and, of course, much better prices.
If you fancy a spot of lunch, you'll also find some of the best restaurants in Greece along the shore offering freshly caught seafood and stunning views of the sea and the white historical buildings of the village.
It's a great day out - a convenient, relaxing, easy and fun way to explore another island. An excursion that you shouldn't miss!

Nice trip and very short! Much quicker than using a normal ferry like Blue Star. In 30 minutes you arrive there and then you have a full day to do as you wish and that is more than enough time to explore Naousa and Paros.
