Naxos Sea Kayaking Tour to Rina Cave

Description
The kayaking tour begins at the beautiful, sandy beach of Kalantos located south of Naxos and protected from the northerly summer winds.
The area is the island`s southernmost wetland and serves as the first resting and feeding stop for migratory birds on their long journey from Africa.
There will be an equipment check and a safety briefing by a certified guide before the beginning of the tour.
You will paddle a distance of about 8 km along the south coast of Naxos, heading east and enjoy views from the neighboring Cycladic islands.
The tour includes stops at sea coves where you will be able to swim alongside forbidding, craggy cliffs.
You will paddle in the calm, blue-green waters and witness incredible geological formations along the coastline until you reach the impressive destination of Rina Cave with its ceiling of miniature stalactites and the nearby raw beach. Here, there will be a 30-40 minute stop.
Your guide will prepare delicious snacks to sample the local products and delicacies of Naxos.
All you have to do is relax and enjoy, or swim and explore the marine life of the area which snorkeling will bring even closer to you.
After which, you will kayak back to the starting point at Kalantos Beach.
The best is saved for last as you can enjoy an optional meal at a traditional local taverna with lovely view!

Important information
- Participants must be at least 14 years old and accompanied by an adult
- Participants need to be in a good physical condition
- You should know how to swim and be in reasonable physical condition
- Participants must weigh less than 100kg (220lb) and not be taller than 1 meter 95cm (6 foot 3 inches)
- The optional meal at a traditional local taverna at the end of the tour costs an extra 20 euros and lasts about an hour

- In the case of no show of a Client in a tour the Company reserves the right to keep the whole paid amount. If you do cancel, you must still pay any insurance premiums and amendment charges which arose before the cancellation, and any deposits paid for any pre-booked items or services. Exception: Cancellation of certain transport arrangements, typically scheduled airline and ferry tickets can result in up to 100% cancellation charges regardless of the notice period given to us. We reserve the right to pass on these charges which will apply to the transport element of your holiday and the cancellation charges in the scale above will apply to the other elements of your holiday (e.g. accommodation, optional extras).
- In case of bad weather making it impossible to operate the activity, our common practice is as follows: We recommend an alternative day, if you can’t participate another day We recommend another activity, if you don’t want to do something else We refund the full amount, as long as this is agreed at latest the night before the scheduled activity day.

Rarely, bad weather may also mean that, for your safety, a different itinerary is used. Here, no refund is possible. The tour organizer will always offer an equivelant itinerary taking the same amount of time and visiting equally impressive places (just those not so prone to bad weather) and offering an equally enjoyable experience that you are sure to treasure.
