Monasteries dress code: Sleeveless clothing and shorts above the knee are not permitted for men. Women can borrow skirts and shawls at the entrance if needed.

- The Meteora monasteries close every Tuesday. In case your reservation is for this day, you will be able to enjoy them from the outside but not visit their interiors
