Book your place for this 100% private full-day sailing adventure aboard the luxury sailing yacht 'Annabella' in a small group of a maximum 20 guests. Departing at 08:00 AM from Naxos town and returning at around 18:00 PM, your exact itinerary will be based on the day's weather forecast and your preferences.
Typically, you will first set sail towards Antiparos island. As you sail through the breathtaking azure waters near Paros and Antiparos, keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish, or cormorants that may join you along the way!
The skipper will provide everything you need for a fantastic day at sea, including masks, snorkels, sea-noodles, raincoats, waterproof cameras and information about the islands and islets.
You will also have the opportunity to take sailing lessons and learn the basics of navigating the high seas! Learn to trim the sails and the art of seamanship first-hand. An experience unlike any other sailing cruise in Naxos.
You can, of course, choose to just lay back and relax on the sundeck with comfortable cushions while enjoying the crew's hospitality.
Your first stop will be the Panteronisia islets, where you can swim and snorkel in the stunning turquoise waters of the Blue Lagoon. You will also visit the Holed Cave - a unique spot teeming with sea life including fish, corals and sea urchins. At both stops, the crew will capture underwater photos for you to cherish later.
Next, you will head to Piso Livadi in Paros. Here, you will have around two hours to explore. You can wander through the charming village of Marpissa and its folklore museum, or even rent a car, motorbike or ATV to explore other picturesque villages nearby, like Lefkes and Naoussa.
Alternatively, you can relax and swim at the sandy beaches or enjoy lunch (not included in the price of the cruise) at one of the local seaside tavernas.
At 15:30, you set sail back towards Naxos, stopping by Kalandos Bay for a relaxing swim on a secluded beach. Here, if you haven't eaten already, you will also have another chance to savor a meal or barbecue at a local family-run taverna, enjoying the superb view with a refreshing drink in hand.
Weather permitting, you might also visit the Lesser Cyclades islands of Iraklia or Schinoussa. In Schinoussa, you can swim at the sandy beaches, explore the island's charming tiny village, have an iced coffee at the traditional cafe or buy some delicious local fava beans. Iraklia offers a peaceful retreat, with hiking trails and you can visit the fascinating cave of Saint John, along with a nearby beach which is ideal for snorkeling.
Alternatively, you may head to the Koufonissia islands. At the uninhabited Kato (Lower) Koufonissi, you will marvel at the network of sea caves carved by the tides, while Pano (meaning 'upper') Koufonissi has charming narrow streets to explore. The island offers you a chance to photograph the vibrant fishing fleet or enjoy some more swimming in its crystal-clear waters.
After soaking in the beauty of these tiny islands, you will return to Naxos town. Time permitting, you can enjoy one last swim at a sheltered bay before arriving back at Naxos town by 18:00.
