Description
For a short part of the trail, we ride through busy (during the peak season) roads so this tour requires some familiarization with riding on main roads.
We first cycle at the rural part of the island – off-roading also through a winding single track - in Ano Mera, before visiting a family church, which will give us the opportunity to interpret Mykonos’ local traditions.
The village of Ano Mera welcomes us next with its traditional whitewashed cubic houses. The monastery of Virgin Mary Tourliani will impress you with its richly adorned iconostasis and its small but interesting museum, whereas at the central square of the village we can take a short rest.
Then we will cycle down to Fokos beach for a pleasant encounter with the Aegean Archipelagos crystal clear waters or even a short hike along the cove. On our way back to the vineyard, we get challenged by the hill of Fokos and then follow a different trail to reach our ending point.

What do I need to bring
- Comfortable clothes and trainers or sandals with a good grip and closed toes
- Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and, optionally, goggles. Please also make sure children have sunglasses wherever possible
- If the weather is good for swimming, a bathing suit, extra underwear, and a light towel. And, optionally, beach shoes for the pebble beach
- A backpack for your personal items
- A jacket for the in the case of bad weather, if the weather is bad please bring a waterproof jacket
- You will be supplied water if you have your own reusable bottle

Age and Weight Limits
Children
- The minimum age for toddlers on the bike seat is 9 months old, provided the child can support the neck & head on his/her own. The maximum allowed weight is 15kg (roughly for a 3yo child)
- For the bike trailers, the maximum (total) weight of the kid(s) is 35kg (roughly for kids aged 2-9).
Adults
- There is no maximum age limit for adults, provided their physicians allow such a type of exercise.
- Mountain bikes and e-bikes have specifications for a total weight (rider + bike) of 120 kg.
- Participants that exceed 105 kg ride at their own risk and if damage occurs to the bikes due to weight will be asked to pay for it.
Cancellation Policy
- The administration charge is 30% for cancellations occurring at least 3 weeks before the tour date.
- If cancellation occurs 3-21 days prior to the departure date, 50% of the payment is held.
- No refund is made for cancellations with only 2 days’ notice (48 hours) or less.
